Go down the Bright Angel Trail to 1.5 mile rest house, 2 mile pictographs, 3 mile rest house, 4.5 miles to Indian Gardens, or 6 miles to Plateau Point. The guides will explain the geology, fauna, and history of this natural wonder. Water faucets and restrooms are along the trail. There is plenty of shade for the hot summer and we’ll show you 2 sets of “secret pictographs”. Huge views you expect from the Grand Canyon await you along with some great areas to get off trail for lunch. This trail is wider and more stable than all the other trails, as it is maintained by the park service and wide enough for mules. Don’t be fooled, it’s still a Grand Canyon Trail. This is REAL canyon adventure.
