This is the easiest hike in the canyon. We will descend down the Bright Angel Trail 4.5 mikes to Indian Gardens. There are water faucets and toilets along the way for your convenience. Old Anasazi pictographs and petroglyphs are hidden along this scenic section of the canyon. Huge canyon views are accented by the canyons brilliant scenery and multi-colored layers. We will explain the layers of the canyon and how the canyon was formed. We will drop our gear at Indian Gardens before we take a day hike to Plateau Point. This is the best view in the canyon! Day two is our 3.2 mile trip to the bottom of the canyon. Drink a Gatorade and eat a chicken pita as the mighty Colorado River crashes by your side. This is why you�re here. Spend the entire day along the river and explore some side trails. We will also be passing by Garden Creek and Pipe Creek. If you�re into water, this is the trip for you. We can easily get off trail and have you in a remote section of the canyon where you�ll think you�re the only person in the canyon. This is REAL canyon adventure.
